The DOL reported:
Within the week ending September 21, the advance determine for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims was 218,000, a lower of
4,000 from the earlier week’s revised stage. The earlier week’s stage was revised up by 3,000 from 219,000 to
222,000. The 4-week transferring common was 224,750, a lower of three,500 from the earlier week’s revised common. The
earlier week’s common was revised up by 750 from 227,500 to 228,250.
