From the Census Bureau report:
Advance estimates of U.S. retail and meals companies gross sales for July 2024, adjusted for seasonal variation and vacation and trading-day variations, however not for worth adjustments, have been $709.7 billion, a rise of 1.0% from the earlier month, and up 2.7 % from July 2023. … The Might 2024 to June 2024 % change was revised from just about unchanged to down 0.2 %.
