I’ve a brand new guide popping out in June, and New Scientist is in charge. Again in the summertime of 2020, I wrote this column a few research led by computational social scientist Meysam Alizadeh, who labored to algorithmically predict waves of propaganda on Twitter and Reddit. Alizadeh mentioned he and his colleagues needed to create a “propaganda weather report” so that individuals on social media can be forewarned about incoming affect campaigns.
