Atlas Ocean Voyages Expands Expedition Groups For 2024-25 Antarctica Season

Atlas Ocean Voyages is starting its 2024-2025 Antarctica cruising season with three vessels, every staffed with an expanded crew of 17 seasoned polar expedition guides led by professional expedition leaders.

Every ship’s crew is comprised of specialists together with naturalists, geologists, marine biologists, and historians who enrich the journey via lectures, guided Zodiac landings, and onshore hikes. Their insights and private interactions foster connections with company, making a memorable, immersive expertise.

World Voyager Expedition Crew

Led by Expedition Chief Aaron Strahlke, World Voyager‘s expedition crew delivers professional information and immersive experiences. With a background in geology and intensive polar expertise, Aaron brings a ardour for wildlife and exploration. Supporting him is Assistant Expedition Chief Christophe Bassous, who brings experience in microbiology, crusing, and polar expeditions.

The crew aboard World Voyager consists of Gabriele Lamartina (Kayak Grasp); Gino Pereira, Carlos Segura, Jan Tiddo and Alejandro Ursino (Naturalists); Beatriz Camara (Geologist); José Junior (Expedition Photographer); Rodrigo Rocha, Anais Buily, Florencia Juarez (Marine Biologist & Naturalists); Xiuyang “Margarette” Yan, Liya Gu and Ting Gu (Expedition Guides and Translators); Nathalie Ansel (Expedition Historian); and Thomas Silcock (Kayaking Information and Photographer).

World Navigator Expedition Crew

Expedition Chief Jonathan Zaccaria brings over a decade of polar expertise to his position. With a background in spectrometry, his profession started with analysis in Antarctica, the place he spent months on the distant Dumont d’Urville and Concordia Stations. Since then, he has led greater than 170 polar voyages, pioneering new exploration websites and dealing carefully with Emperor penguin colonies.
