The provisional variety of
births for america in 2023 was
3,591,328, down 2% from 2022. The
normal fertility fee was 54.4 births per
1,000 females ages 15–44, down 3%
from 2022. The overall fertility fee was
1,616.5 births per 1,000 ladies in 2023,
a decline of two% from 2022. Delivery charges
declined for females in age teams 15–19
via 35–39 and had been unchanged for
females ages 10–14 and for ladies ages
40–44 and 45–49 in 2023. The start
fee for youngsters ages 15–19 declined
by 3% in 2023 to 13.2 births per 1,000
females; the speed for youthful youngsters
(ages 15–17) was unchanged, and the
fee for older youngsters (ages 18–19)
declined 3%. T
