Uzbekistan Airways is about to boost its fleet with two wide-body Airbus A330 plane, obtained by way of a moist lease association. The airline initiated using this plane mannequin in April 2023.
Designed for long-haul journeys over 4 hours, these planes will initially function on the Tashkent to Istanbul route. Future expansions are deliberate for Jeddah and Seoul. Outfitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, the primary flight, designated HY281/282, is scheduled for Might 20, masking the Tashkent-Istanbul-Tashkent circuit.
The one-year moist lease settlement for these two Airbus A330s was signed with Qanot Sharq. In the course of the lease, the plane will function a singular blue livery, distinguishing them from the normal Uzbekistan Airways design.
