Hitachi Rail has secured a contract to implement its European Practice Management System (ETCS) digital signaling know-how on two vital rail infrastructure upgrades in Thailand, geared toward boosting pace, dependability, and security. The corporate’s ETCS Stage 1 system is about to be put in alongside 281 kilometers of monitor on the Northeast Line between Nong Waeng Rai and Nong Phok, and on the North Line from Den Chai to Ngao, along with being geared up on three prepare units.

These enhancements are integral to Thailand’s bold double-track railway enlargement plan designed to bolster intercity rail service by safely rising prepare speeds.
